Streaming service Twitch has received another fine for refusing to remove content that is considered banned. The company will have to pay 3 million rubles.
“Twitch interactive, Inc. found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 2 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and was imposed an administrative penalty in the form of an administrative fine of 3 million rubles,” says a message on the telegram channel “Courts of General Jurisdiction of the City of Moscow.”
The service has already received the maximum fine provided for in this article. In December, Moscow’s Tagansky Court ordered payment of 4 million rubles for failure to remove prohibited information.
Before this fall, Twitch was fined 13 million rubles, but the sanction related to another crime: refusing to locate the Russians’ data.
