Ubirator, developer of digital services for the recyclables market, has closed its next round of financing. Four new participants entered the project at once, as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Ubirator founder Nikita Nikishkin told RB.RU that the company, in the new market conditions, needed to “reassemble the business model”, which was successfully completed in 2023.
As follows from Kontur.Focus data, on February 2, 2024, LLC Management Company ST Capital LLC (10.61%), Dmitry Levshin (2.2%), Andrey Andrusov (0.75%) became in participants of Ubirator LLC (10.61%). %), Grigori Terentyev (0.34%).
The founder of the company, Nikita Nikishkin, confirmed to RB.RU that the service had closed a financing round, but did not specify the conditions under which new participants received shares.
Nikishkin also said that the Zerno Ventures fund participated in the round. Thus, on February 2, Zerno Ventures JSC’s share in the project increased from 6.76% to 9.18%.
According to Nikishkin, since 2022 the market conditions in which the service operates have changed significantly. To resume growth, the company needed to rebuild its business model.
“Our team successfully completed this reassembly and it was completed in mid-2023. As a result, “Ubirator” showed positive EBITDA in the 3-4 quarters of 2023, and in terms of size (tons, orders), the business of the company has grown 45% since the beginning of the year,” said the founder of the service, adding that today profitability is a key priority.
In the summer of 2023, private businessman Vladimir Khristenko sold his stake in Ubirator. He owned 0.55% of the project.
In total, Ubirator LLC currently has more than 20 participants. The majority belongs to founder Nikita Nikishkin, who owns 20.4%. JSC Tiltech has 20.1%. Co-founders Alexei Khatskevich and Sergei Kalitov currently own 10.5% and 3.24%, respectively. At the same time, the shares of Nikishkin and Kalitov are pledged to the Moscow Venture Investment Development Fund.
Ubirator was founded in 2018 by Nikita Nikishkin, Sergey Kalitov and Alexey Khatskevich. The company operates in 40 regions of Russia, its clients include Vkusville, Hoff, Sportmaster, Magnit.
