11 satellites successfully entered the targeted orbit and the launch was successful. This launch was the 508th flight of the Long March series launch vehicle. Geely Constellation is the first constellation of communications, navigation and remote sensing satellites independently developed by Geely subsidiary Time and Space Technology.
According to the plan, Geely will complete the deployment of the first phase of the 72-satellite constellation in 2025, by which time it will be able to provide satellite application services to global users and provide global positioning capabilities without blind spots.
Following the launch of the satellite, the Geely Galaxy E8 will be the first phone equipped with Geely’s satellite communication technology, which will allow users to receive messages via satellite.
