The 2GIS mapping service became the first Russian company to release an application for the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality glasses. Sales of 2GIS Immersive began in the headset application store on February 2, the press service of 2GIS.

2GIS Immersive gives the user the ability to view and drag 3D building models in space and also contains information about these objects. Currently, the application contains “hundreds” of models of buildings such as the Moscow Kremlin, the Moscow State University building and the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg.

As Alexander Syrkov, head of the 2GIS user product line, said, 2GIS Immersive is a pilot application that the company’s engineers developed “in a short time.”
