For the first time, Apple has released detailed information about the iOS 17 rollout.
According to the data received, users have become a little slower to update to new system sensors than to iOS 16 last year. Below are the exact data for iOS 17.

• iOS 16: 20%
On all applicable iPhones:
• iOS 17: 66%
• iOS 16: 23%
On iPads introduced in the last four years:
• iPadOS 17: 61%
• iPadOS 16: 29%
For all applicable iPads:
• iPadOS 17: 53%
• iPadOS 16: 29%
By comparison, in February 2023, iOS 16 was installed on 81% of current iPhones and 72% of all iPhones. With this release, iPadOS 17 is ahead of iPadOS 16 – the latter version was installed on 53% and 50% of devices a year ago. [9to5]
