Car-sharing operator Delimobil raised 4.2 billion rubles; its initial public offering on the Moscow Stock Exchange was at the upper end of the range, or 265 rubles.
As noted by the company, the share of institutional and individual investors in the total placement volume is approximately equally divided. As a result of the IPO, the company’s market capitalization will be 46.6 billion rubles.
The free float ratio was 9% instead of the previously planned 10%. Trading in securities on the Moscow Stock Exchange will begin around 11:00 (Moscow time) on February 7.
The company’s general director, Elena Bejtina, recalled that Delimobil became the first carsharing operator to list shares on the Moscow Stock Exchange, as well as the first IPO in Russia in 2024.
- The day before it became known that Delimobil increased the size of its IPO to 4.2 billion rubles, although earlier the company had planned a base size of no more than 3 billion rubles. The reason was the growing interest of institutional investors.
- “Delimobil” made a net profit in 2023; for the nine months of 2023 it amounted to 1.4 billion rubles, according to the company’s materials. Revenue in the period 2020-2022 increased by 2.4 times, while in just nine months of 2023 the figure increased by 1.3 times, to 14.5 billion rubles compared to 2022. EBITDA increased by 1. 7 times, the EBITDA margin amounted to 31%.
