The audio system includes a 200-watt Class D amplifier, two 75-watt 4-inch speakers, and two 25-watt 0.25-inch aluminum dome speakers. Audio is processed through a DSP engine and DAC with 24-bit/96 kHz resolution. The system features an adjustable bass setting on the rear panel, as well as a SoundField Expansion control to expand the sound field.
To play music, you can use Airplay2 and Chromecast, as well as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect support. It also supports Roon music management platform and Ethernet LAN for network connectivity. The system is also compatible with the Samsung Smart Things smart home ecosystem.
The L42ms audio system is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024 for $1,099.
