Deposits from small and medium-sized businesses in banks increased by 40% in 2023. This is clear from the results of a study by Blank Bank.

In the IT segment, the growth in the volume of deposits was 37%, among sellers in the markets – 60%, and in the logistics sector – 17%. The average volume of deposits during the year increased by 30% to 4 million rubles per entrepreneur.

According to the results of the study, the main reasons for using deposits were fund insurance (46%), asset diversification (38%).

The bank conducted a study based on its own data on a database of 50 thousand clients and the results of a survey of 2.5 thousand business owners, of which 74% were individual entrepreneurs, 26% were LLCs.
