Tesla HR manager Hans von Ohain crashed in a Model 3. He was drunk and driving the car on autopilot.

The emergency will go into effect in May 2022. Ohain, along with his friend Eric Rossiter, was driving a Tesla Model 3 from the golf club, where he drank alcohol during the game.

Returning home, Ohain sat behind the wheel, the car was completely controlled by autopilot.

At some point, the car suddenly turned off the road, and the driver did not have time to react. The car crashed into a tree and immediately caught fire. Part of the tree fell on the car and blocked the driver’s door. Rossiter was able to get out of the car himself, but he was unable to get the other person out of the burning car.

Colorado State Police determined driver intoxication was the primary cause of the crash. An autopsy showed that his calculation was 0.26 ppm.
