The Moscow Tourism Hackathon is a competition to create new TravelTech solutions. It will be played in two stages: an online qualification phase and an in-person final in Moscow. Applications are open until March 11.
Participants will be asked to solve a five-topic problem at the intersection of TravelTech and related topics to choose from:
- On the track – RoadTech, we will work on the development of the walking routes functionality of the RUSSPASS portal to increase traffic and user participation. The task partner is the Moscow Department of Information Technologies.
- In the FinTech track, add the possibility of insuring your purchase against unforeseen events within the RUSSPASS portal. The partner in the task is the Mafin insurance service.
- Along the way, ServiceTech will develop a system to offer similar photos to the task partner, the RUSSPASS.Business photo bank.
- In the future, E-com will implement a neural network model for the service in such a way that this leads to an increase in conversion to the purchase of activities.
- On the way: BookingTech will redesign the customer’s path to booking RUSSPASS tours to increase conversion to purchase. The partner of the task is the online travel service Tutu.

Dates:
- until March 11 – registration of participants;
- March 23-24: online qualifying stage of the hackathon;
- April 6 and 7: in-person final in Moscow;
- April 7: Winners announced.
What is the prize in the final for the winning teams?
For the first place: 700,000 rubles, for the second: 500,000 rubles, for the third: 300,000 rubles. There will be three prizes in each of the five tracks. The total prize fund of the hackathon is 7,500,000 rubles.
Who is it suitable for?
IT specialists, product specialists, developers, designers, analysts, creators. Both team and individual applications are accepted, which the organizers will independently combine into national teams.
