RetailHub, a startup with Russian roots that develops a vertical SaaS solution for retail chains and aggregators, has raised $300,000 in investments in a pre-seed round for business development and expansion. This was reported to RB.RU by a RetailHub representative.
The round was attended by the Hub71 x TechStars accelerator, top managers of retail and IT companies and serial entrepreneurs: Mikhail Tyurin (former production and technology director at X5 Digital), Sergey Fedorchenko (head of data management at Megafon), Ekaterina Tikhonova (senior manager of a technology company) and Samer Mohammed (senior manager of a technology corporation in the United Arab Emirates).
The evaluation of the project at the current stage is not disclosed.
RetailHub manages the largest unified product database in the UAE, enabling retailers to put products on shelves on time, increase revenue and reduce losses, and enables aggregators to eliminate substitutions in orders and improve user experience.
The startup was founded by RetailHub in 2022 by Daniil Alimov and Roman Tikhonov. In 2017, the partners also launched the Dostavushka company in Kazan, from which an express delivery service from Pyaterochka and Perekrestok arose.
RetailHub is a resident of the Hub71 x Techstars acceleration program (funded by Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala). According to our own data, among our clients and partners are the largest aggregators and marketplaces in the region: Noon, Deliveroo, Talabat (part of the Delivery Hero holding) and retail chains.
