Wildberries users reported problems when making transactions with Mastercard cards: they were disconnected from their personal account, attempts to pay for purchases ended unsuccessfully.
The market reported that it was already solving the problem and also suggested using other payment methods: WB Wallet, SBP, Sber Pay and Mir cards, TASS learned.
The Wildberries press service reported that the restoration of the possibility of paying with Mastercard cards will be announced later.
In October 2023, Wildberries introduced a commission of 3% of the purchase price for paying for products with cards from the international payment systems Visa and Mastercard. The market explained this as a reward to the bank that processes the payments. The prosecutor’s office drew attention to this and asked the site to respect the laws and the interests of consumers. After this, the company canceled the commissions.
