Judge Claudia Maria Hardt, rapporteur of the decision, referred to Federal Law No. 13,185/2015, which defines cyberbullying as the act of “systematically intimidating one or more persons, individually or in groups, by means of physical or psychological violence, deliberately and deliberately.” repetitive without apparent motivation”.

“It is clear that the appellant (the author) suffered the direct effects of digital bullying, including that, following the posts, his parents transferred him to another school and began psychological treatment,” the judge said.

In his speech, the judge also touched upon the articles of the Child and Adolescent Law emphasizing that “protecting the dignity of children and adolescents is everyone’s duty.”
