Deutsche Telekom and Tele2 comply with rSIM requirements.
This is a new SIM card format that allows you to use two numbers from different operators on one card. Externally, it works even “on old push-button phones.”
rSIM also supports II, which provides power supply for the first time. If the connection is lost, the technology itself will switch to another tool without breaking the connection.
rSIM (Resilient SIM) is the world’s first truly resilient and intelligent SIM card. It is device independent and constantly monitors the connection. rSIM uses new patented technology to test its own network connection and switch providers when failures occur, minimizing the possibility of SIM card and device disconnection during outages.
The new smart SIM card provides improved network connectivity for IoT devices and local internet.
– says the press release
Deutsche Telekom, Tele2, T-Mobile and GSMA are already preparing new SIM cards for testing.
