2GIS filed a second lawsuit against Google and its subsidiary

The 2GIS mapping service filed a lawsuit against Google LLC, Google Commerce Limited and Google LLC (declared bankrupt). TASS reported this.

The essence of the claim is unknown. At the request of RB.RU, the 2GIS press service did not comment on the matter.

Previously, 2GIS filed a lawsuit against the same companies to overturn Google’s refusal to distribute the 2GIS app and demand that the company’s account be reinstated. The court accepted this claim and ordered Google to return the service app to Google Play.

The 2GIS service app was removed from Google Play in May 2023. It was reported that the removal was likely related to sanctions against Sber, which is the main owner of 2GIS.
