Shares of Russian startups will appear on the Bizmall investment platform in March, a representative of the platform informed RB.RU. All projects undergo due diligence or extensive evaluation by independent experts before placement. The size of the attracted investments ranges from 20 to 200 million rubles.
In the summer of 2023, the platform announced the launch of a new direction, “Crowdinvesting for Startups”, which allows aspiring entrepreneurs to raise funds for business development without losing control of the company. The management was headed by business angel, mentor and investment tracker Elena Kolmakova.
Among the first startups competing for bizmall is a mobile dating application, a project to create a sports infrastructure, and a platform to create affiliate communication and loyalty programs.
The total amount of attracted investments amounted to more than 240 million rubles.
Currently, several more startups are preparing to submit an offer on bizmall: these are medical technology startups and a project in the field of education with networking and training for entrepreneurs.
As Elena Kolmakova explained, the platform focuses on a wide range of areas, from IT and education to projects in the field of tourism and agricultural technologies.
Conditions of publication in bizmall
Initially, projects that meet at least one criterion are selected:
- Availability of MVP (Minimum Viable Product);
- Availability of intellectual property;
- Achievable turnover of 100 million rubles per year for a period of 3 to 5 years.
Once the initial selection has been successfully completed, projects face more thorough displacement. It includes checking the financial model, analyzing the business model and also checking the founders as individuals.
The platform, regardless of the stage of the startup, carries out a due diligence procedure, thanks to which experienced investors are offered a comprehensive tool.
Both qualified and novice investors will be able to become owners of shares. However, they will not be able to influence project management decisions.
