Google has announced the development of a new feature that uses generative AI: Magic Compose. It will automatically create custom responses to messages in the user’s private chat.
Magic Compose will offer a wide range of styles to choose from, including formal, edgy, and lyrical (meaning, it’ll even write poetry, TechCrunch discovered). The AI will use the context of the conversation to suggest relevant responses.
In the near future, the newest feature will be available for beta testing: users will be able to sign up for the study through the Play Store.
Google also plans to introduce artificial intelligence technologies into the search engine. According to The Wall Street Journal, Google will include AI conversation results in search results, as well as social media posts and even short video formats like TikTok videos, Reels, etc.
