This online store will be your one-stop shop for finding new apps and games for your Chromebook. It will include Android apps (via the Play Store), web apps (including Progressive Web Apps, or PWAs), and even some Linux options for more advanced users.
It can be difficult to find all these categories of apps these days. Android apps may not be available online and web apps may be hidden in the Play Store. Finding and installing Linux applications often requires some technical knowledge.
App Mall aims to “close this gap” by offering a centralized hub for app discovery. In early tests, this requires enabling a flag in ChromeOS settings, but Google may eventually make this available via a dedicated website.
