This Monday (04), Apple announces 13-inch and 15-inch versions of the new MacBook Air with M3 chip. The products have not yet received a launch date, but will be priced starting from R$12,500 in Brazil.
According to Apple, the M3 processor performs up to 60% faster than the M1 and is up to 13 times faster than the flagship MacBook Air with Intel.
The chip features an 8-core CPU (4 for performance and 4 for efficiency), 10-core GPU, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s memory bandwidth.
Both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air feature Liquid Retina display, 2560 x 1664 pixel resolution, up to 500 nits brightness, and True Tone Technology.
Featuring an ultra-thin and lightweight design, the laptops feature aluminum construction (midnight color) that reduces fingerprints.
The promise is that the laptop’s battery will last up to 18 hours and is compatible with up to two external monitors.
