The Bitcoin rate has surpassed $65,000 for the first time since 2021, according to data from Coindesk. Previously, the record was recorded in November 2021, when the rate stood at $68.9 thousand.

During the day from March 3 to the morning of March 4, the exchange rate of the first cryptocurrency increased by 5.26%. At 11:30 Moscow time, Bitcoin was trading for more than 65 thousand dollars, after which a drop to 64.9 thousand dollars was recorded.
However, by 2:16 PM Moscow time, the price had risen again to $65,073. Since the beginning of 2024, the price of Bitcoin has increased by at least 40%. This dynamic is observed in the context of the relaxations in the United States, which were approved by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) in January.
In early February, Bitcoin’s capitalization reached $1 trillion for the first time since 2021. According to analysts, the rise in the exchange rate is due, among other things, to the launch of the world’s first exchange-traded fund for Bitcoin.
