Qiwi Bank filed a lawsuit against Qiwi JSC and Hong Kong company Fusion Factor Fintech Limited and Qiwi plc. The statement of claim is reflected in the file of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

- On February 21, the Central Bank revoked Qiwi Bank’s license; a month earlier, Qiwi closed a deal to sell Russian assets for 24 billion rubles to Hong Kong company Fusion Factor Fintech Limited.
- After the license was revoked, Qiwi wallet replenishment became unavailable and the payment system also blocked the withdrawal of funds.
- Tochka Bank promised to purchase the remaining funds of its clients for 8 billion rubles. Payments must begin no later than March 5.
- On March 1, it became known that the FSB began an inspection of the Qiwi bank; The service suspects that the organization withdraws money obtained illegally abroad.
Previously, representatives of the IT industry told Forbes about the costs borne by Russian programmers in connection with the revocation of Qiwi Bank’s license and the closure of wallets.
In particular, a representative of an IT company accredited by the Ministry of Digital Development said that the organization is now having problems paying for a number of services necessary for its work.
UPDATE: As the press service of the Moscow Arbitration Court explained to the Interfax agency, Qiwi Bank intends to challenge the agreement on the purchase and sale of shares of Qiwi JSC and invalidate the agreement on pledge and encumbrance of these shares.
