The boy’s parents and grandparents acted as living donors, providing part of the right and left lungs, as well as part of the liver for transplantation. More than 30 medical professionals participated in this historic operation.
After a successful transplant, the child was discharged from the hospital after a long rehabilitation period. Their relatives also feel well and do not need additional medical supervision.
