Unlike technology, Apple adapts prices for its services depending on the economic situation in the country. For example, in Russia they remained unchanged for the third year, but in Turkey they changed at least twice during the same period.
But the gap can be a table. For example, if an individual subscription to Apple Music in the Russian Federation costs 169 rubles per month, then in Denmark you will have to pay 109 kroons or 1,450 rubles per month for it.
Below are all the countries where subscriptions to Apple services are cheaper than in Russia. The list turned out to be small because amendments to the regions have not been made for a long time.
How much does music, iCloud+, TV+ and others cost in Russia now?
In Russian relations, Apple provides access to the following services:
• Apple iCloud+: from 59 rubles.
• Apple Music: 169 rubles.
• Apple TV+: 199 rubles.
• Apple Arcade: 199 rubles.
• Apple Fitness+: 199 rubles.
• Apple One: from 365 rubles.
At the same time, iCloud+ supports five levels: 50 GB for 59 rubles, 200 GB for 149 rubles, 2 TB for 599 rubles and two new ones of 6 TB for 3,490 rubles and 12 TB for 6,990 rubles per month.
In turn, Apple One can be purchased in three formats: individual for 365 rubles (Music, TV+, Arcade, 50 GB iCloud), family for 525 rubles (Music, TV+, Arcade, 200 GB iCloud) and Premium for 995 rubles ( Music). , TV+, Arcade, Fitness+, 2 TB iCloud).
Prices have not changed since 2019, this is a unique situation not only for Apple, but for the entire industry. in the world. However, even with this in mind, there are regions where Apple keeps the bar even lower. Among them there is, for example, China.
Apple Music is cheaper in Russia in only 4 countries
These are Türkiye, India, China and Egypt. The difference is from 18 to 30%.
Let’s look at the reason for Apple Music:
• Russia: 169 rubles.
• Egypt: 102 rubles (55 Egyptian pounds).
• India: 108 rubles (99 rupees).
• Türkiye: 113 rubles (40 TL)
• China: 139 rubles (11 yuan).
The most expensive countries are Europe, where prices reach 1,400 rubles per month for an individual Apple Music subscription.
Interestingly, the situation is different with other services. The Russian region is currently the cheapest in the world after Turkey.
For example, this is what the difference looks like in iCloud+ with a capacity of 200 GB:
• Russia: 149 rubles.
• Egypt: 183 rubles (99 Egyptian pounds).
• India: 150 rubles (Rs. 219).
• Türkiye: 113 rubles (40 TL)

Turkey looks, rules aside, a region sometimes better than Russia and India, which are on par. The reason is that Apple probably doesn’t adjust prices according to local inflation.
For example, back in August 2023 in Turkey, Apple Music cost 20 liras, and now it is twice as much.
In other countries, prices are multiplied from two (Thailand, Malaysia) to five times (States, Italy, Denmark).
The reason for such a cheap policy in the rest of the company’s zone is also not cryptocurrency, but with responsibility for the low prices of its customers in these regions, Apple may for various reasons: in Turkey due to the unstable weakening of the lira and the highest taxes on smartphones in the world, in China due to their vulnerable position in the country, in India due to recently emerging rates in this market, in Egypt due to the state of the economy.
Even cheaper regions do not have all services
The Russian segment of Apple subscriptions is in a unique position: it is one of the cheapest and supports the maximum services.
Apple has Apple One Premier, which lets you save money by subscribing to everything at once. This is not the case in Indian, Chinese or Turkish stores, since some do not use Fitness+, others Arcade, and others TV+. In the Russian states, all this is available, and also for a penny compared to other prices.
Therefore, there is simply objectively no point in switching to another region, which I already wrote about in detail several months ago.
Oddly enough, it didn’t sound like that; Apple abandoned the Russian market in everything else, but not in services. Here, on the contrary, everyone wants to get into the Russian region.
New series and series, training and games also play music localized in Russian, and prices are frozen at 2019 levels. While Apple has not finally moved away from region support, it remains as comprehensive and beneficial as possible.
