The inDrive service has raised $150 million from the General Catalyst fund, the company’s press service reported. The money will be used to launch new features and expand into new markets.

A total of $300 million has been raised from General Catalyst; the previous round took place last year.
The company will use the funds raised to further develop the product, including by developing new security features. The service also plans to expand the list of services and continue developing new markets.
“This financing also confirms investors’ confidence in the company’s sustainable growth and agreement with its mission and goal to positively influence the lives of more than one billion people by 2030,” the press service noted.
According to the company’s CFO Dmitry Sedov, additional financing from the venture fund will help focus on innovation while maintaining a strong financial position and flexibility.
inDrive operates in 46 countries; Now the company’s largest office is located in Kazakhstan and employs about a thousand people.
