13% of companies provide training to their employees every month, 3% of respondents indicated that they train staff every two months and 10%, once a quarter.
36% of companies allocate a separate budget item to pay for employee training. 23% of organizations use a human resources (HR) budget, 19% allocate funds to each employee, and 16% use the budget of the department whose employees receive training. And only 3% of study participants seek free training opportunities for their employees.
78% of companies allocate less than 10% of their monthly expenses to training their employees. 19% of respondents spend between 11 and 25%, and 3% of respondents – between 26 and 50% of the monthly budget.
According to SberUniversity experts, one of the key priorities for companies today is operational efficiency, which also includes the qualitative development of teams, adaptation of the business model and the implementation of modern management tools.
In addition, there is a demand for the development of soft skills. Today, it is essential for companies that managers and teams are able to adapt and make decisions quickly. For example, managers strive to gain skills to manage change, create flexible teams and project offices.
Company representatives, managers, human resources directors, recruiters, and human resources specialists who provide training to employees participated in the survey. The sample size is more than 220 respondents.
