Thanks to the new option, hoteliers will be able to compare the performance of their property with a group of competitors in a single window. Also in the “Competitive Analysis” you can evaluate how effective the tariff policy is and predict demand for the future. The report will help identify weaknesses and areas of growth.
A beta version of the tool is now available, where you can compare the performance of your closest competitors in the same region using four metrics: minimum opening price, availability of a special rate for MTC Travel, number of rates and customer ratings. the visitors.
The service collects data for the report from open sources and is updated every day.
The service’s algorithms form a selection of four to nine competitors, similar in accommodation type, star rating and room size. The automatically collected competitive pool can be adjusted independently once a month.
In the future, “Competitive Analysis” will allow you to compare your performance with your competition’s business in terms of occupancy, revenue per room, booking depth and other metrics. It will also be possible to configure dashboards, create funnels and forecast booking dynamics.
The company invites its partners to participate in additional training on the algorithm.
The service began adding analytics tools for hoteliers in the fall of 2023. MTS bought the Bronevik service in 2022 in the context of Booking.com’s departure from Russia.
