According to the company, the number of transactions for the purchase of property in these countries has increased by almost 10% this year compared to January-February 2023.
50% of buyers buy real estate to obtain residence and citizenship permits, 30% for investment and 20% for personal residence, according to the study.
Foreign real estate prices vary by country. In the most popular locations, the cost increases year over year by an average of 15 to 20%.
- In 2023, Russians were less interested in real estate abroad: in the Turkish market the drop reached 60-70%, in the United Arab Emirates – 25-30%. On average, the reduction in demand was 45% year-on-year. Among the reasons are the weakening of the ruble and the flow of investment demand to the Middle East and Southeast Asian markets.
