Venture capital fund TMT Investments filed an updated lawsuit against the founder of gamer training platform Legionfarm Alexey Belyankin. Forbes talked about this.
The lawsuit clarifies the claims and demands against the defendant, in particular, it mentions that the Belyankins did not provide financial statements as of July 2023.
The plaintiffs also pointed out in the reporting documents a possible financial fraud: in the period from May 2021 to December 2022, the startup exaggerated data on user training revenue by $3.3 million.
Additionally, TMT Investments confirmed previous allegations regarding Belyankin issuing unjustified bonuses, as well as embezzling funds from a corporate account for personal needs.
TMT Investments’ first claim against Legionfarm was received on August 2, 2023. MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov also filed a lawsuit against Legionfarm. He believes the startup paid him less than $1.8 million to announce the launch of Legionfarm.
