When you have a corgi in the house and you are allergic to dust, you have to clean often. You would know how tired I am of getting a large household vacuum cleaner through the vacuum cleaner.

Usually wet cleaning helps, but this, as you understand, is a long process and not the most pleasant. In this regard, the idea came to look for a new solution, preferably compact and fast.

In general, there are hand-held vacuum cleaners for such tasks. There is a wide choice, it’s dizzying, it would be nice to find a universal option that not only sucks up dust, fur and crumbs, but will do it reliably.

For example, the Jimmy BD7 Pro wireless model, in addition to suction, has a number of additional advantages: ultraviolet radiation, ultrasonic effects on pollen mites (those that we do not meet, but they are in furniture), a HEPA filter.

In this review, we’ll take a deeper dive into how it solves the problem of endless house dust and currently does a good job of keeping out the exterior.

Equipment. Ready to use out of the box

The JIMMY BD7 Pro comes with a vacuum cleaner, HEPA fine filter, battery, charger, cleaning agent and cleaning brush.

The battery is designed for 35 minutes of work in normal mode and for 15 minutes in turbo mode – this is if you have particularly dense fabric that has not been cleaned for a long time. It comes with the packaging 50% charged, so you can use it right away.

The battery is inserted into the back

But the user manual recommends charging the full tank first. To do this, you need to insert the battery into the vacuum cleaner and connect the complete device to the port on the left side.

During charging, the diode lights up red, when completed it turns white. It will take three to four hours to power from 0% to 100%.

The battery is installed in the rear part of the vacuum cleaner. You need to press the release button at the top of the slot and click it there. It is pulled out according to the same principle.

The size is small, but the vacuum cleaner is heavy

At first I thought that this was an ordinary attachment that should be attached to the entire part of the vacuum cleaner, as if something had not been included in the kit. And then I realized that this is all a device, nothing else is connected.

The battery slot, which is very similar to the standard tube mount, was misleading. The solution, on the one hand, is unusual, because the shape could have been more elegant, but on the other hand, it immediately makes it clear where the power source is attached and does not intimidate due to the familiar visual design language of the entire device.

The handle is conveniently located in the back, it helps distribute the weight over 2.5 kilograms so as not to pull on the hand.

The design is so designed that during operation you simply place the device on the surface and pull it towards you without the need to make any effort.

In the front part on the top right I saw an LED screen. It is non-interactive and functions cannot be controlled through it. Serves only to display information.

The screenshot shows the current operating mode, charge level, and first of all it displays degree of surface contamination: red for maximum dust, yellow and blue for clean dust. For recognition next to a brush installed with a special sensor.

There are two control buttons, they are located under the thumb directly on the handle. One turns the gadget on and off, the second is responsible for changing three operating modes.

Let’s look at them in more detail.

There are four cleaning systems, you can turn them off

Jimmy BD7 Pro uses, in addition to suction, high frequency vibration, she helps him shake out the dirt from the depths of the textiles. Vibration knocks out small particles and thereby raises the air collector.

There is a mechanical rubber brushwhich captures particles during operation and helps them move with the air flow.

Responsible for disinfection ultraviolet emitter. It also destroys pollen mites. It turns on when the vacuum cleaner is adjacent to the surface and turns off if the device is lifted; do not shine it into your eyes.

Well, there is an unusual feature on the plus side, negative ion generator. It creates a feeling of freshness and clears the atmosphere so you can breathe easier.

There are sensors installed on the bottom that automatically turn on UV radiation only when it comes into contact with the surface and displays data to you whether it is actually clean.

By default, the Jimmy BD7 Pro operates in a mode that uses all three methods: suction, brushing and ultraviolet.

If you hold down the mode change button for 3 seconds, the brush will turn off. This will save battery and is suitable for more delicate fabrics.

A single use of the lamp in this state switches the vacuum cleaner into turbo mode with enhanced suction.

The sofa looked clean, the dust had been removed

All intake air passes through a HEPA filter.

Having walked across the sofa with a vacuum cleaner and removed all the wool, I saw far from being the only one in the trash compartment.

After suction, the dirt passes through the HEPA filter and only then enters the dust container. This is necessary to capture and not fly back into the air fine particles, including invisible mites, gas molecules and bacteria.

It is recommended to wash the filter as rarely as possible; cleaning the vacuum cleaner is best done by simply shaking it.

The cleaning element, like the tank, is small, which is logical. The vacuum cleaner is not intended for cleaning the floor, but for spot cleaning: furniture, curtains, pillows. They don’t walk me on carpets, although sometimes they can be used as a preventive measure.

I would advise using it after the initial cleaning of sofas and home textiles, because the difference will be visible in how much invisible dust we let through.

Due to the powerful suction, the noise reaches 78 dB, which is within the limits of adequate estimates.

Suctions up visible fur and invisible dust.

It is, however, easier to remove shedding hair with a hand-held device when it comes to furniture. I passed as soon as I noticed her, and it was fine.

It’s harder to get rid of problems that you can’t see. There were times when I cleaned the entire apartment, the feeling of constricting air did not go away even after a day.

And the Jimmy BD7 Pro helps with just that.

Even if you remove visible problems, something that the eye cannot see settles and settles in the mattress, armchairs, computer chairs, sofas, and curtains. I got rid of these skin particles, elements of heavy exhausts, fearing that dust mites can only be achieved with an integrated approach.

The result is simple, look at the photo. The sofa looks clean, and how much came out of it using the Jimmy BD7 Pro.

This is logical, since four important elements are built in: ultrasound, powerful suction, mechanical brush and ultraviolet radiation.

The gadget is worth it 14,990 rubles.

🥳Bonus:

Promo code iPhones gives a discount of 5,000 rubles on a vacuum cleaner on the Jimmy website. Valid until April 15, no more than two vacuum cleaners per promotional code.

After cleaning, there is no dust smell left behind, as was previously the case with conventional vacuum cleaners, and the air is saturated with ions.

In general, it is actually possible to cope with both wool and taking into account particles.

To take or not to take, it’s up to you. But I appreciated it.
