Currently, iOS can detect surveillance devices, but only if they are certified by Apple or Find My. The new system will be able to detect even non-certified devices and allow them to be deactivated.
The feature was added to the iOS 17.5 developer beta; It is not yet available to users. Apple is expected to launch the new operating system in May 2024.
