More than half of Russians (54%) would like the appearance of new “strong” domestic brands instead of the return of international ones, a survey by the NAFI Analytical Center, conducted at the request of RB.RU, showed.

Most Russians want strong Russian brands instead of bringing back international ones: survey

30% of respondents equally want the appearance of “strong” brands in Russia and the return of international brands to the Russian market. Only 15% said they are looking forward to the return of the companies that left for the local market.

Among those who want the appearance of new Russian brands, 55% of men and 54% of women. Most of them are 45 years or older. The smallest number of people who expect “strong” Russian brands is among Russian residents aged 18-24 – 36%.

The return of international brands is more expected by men than by women. At the same time, women are counting more on the emergence of new Russian brands and the return of international brands.

The All-Russian NAFI survey was conducted in February 2023, 1,600 people over the age of 18 attended. The statistical error of the data does not exceed 3.4%.
