Almost 80% of Russian companies are ready to increase the salaries indicated in vacancies. The majority indicate the salary range and 5% are first interested in the candidate’s desired income. This is stated by the “Rabota.ru” study; Izvestia learned the results.

88% of employers do not indicate a salary range, as they are open to considering specialists of different levels. 47% of respondents want to expand the candidate funnel in this way.
Another 41% of managers stated that without an exact amount it is more convenient to analyze current salary expectations in the market. 27% of companies pay for results. And 19% of employers do not want competitors to know their salaries.
16% of employers admitted that the salary of existing employees is lower than what they are willing to offer new specialists.
About 60% of companies are willing to increase salaries if the candidate suits them. Another nearly 50% of respondents said an applicant’s unique skills or experience could influence a promotion. A third of respondents would increase their salary offer if such an opportunity existed, and 19% highlighted the applicant’s willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
More than 400 business representatives from all regions of Russia took part in the study.
