Android Authority has spotted lines in Android 15 code that point to a Bluetooth feature that will automatically turn Bluetooth on “tomorrow” if you’ve previously turned it off. Why is Bluetooth always on? The answer lies in the operating system itself, which increasingly relies on it for file transfers, such as Quick Share and the upcoming Find My Device network.

This is further confirmed by additional lines in the Settings app that say Bluetooth connectivity allows you to use features like Quick Sharing, Find My Device, and device location services.

What’s interesting is that the code for this feature may not be exclusive to Android 15, which could potentially impact users other than early adopters. However, according to reports, it may not work universally on all Android devices.
