Low-cost airline Pobeda can start offering meals on board. The previously launched “Food at Gate” service showed good results and met the airline’s expectations. This was announced by the general director of Pobeda, Dmitry Tyshchuk.

According to Tishchuk, we are talking about a limited menu of drinks and snacks. The introduction of the new service will not increase aircraft maintenance time, says the general director of Pobeda. Currently, pre- and post-flight preparation for low-cost airline aircraft takes an average of 25 minutes.

Tishchuk evaluated the results of the previously launched “Food at the Door” service. It allows you to place orders before boarding and pick up your food on the plane just before departure.

As Tishchuk notes, the service met expectations and is considered “quite popular” by the airline. Pobeda is now exploring the possibility of reserving in-flight meals and serving in-flight snacks.

“They will be snacks, snacks and drinks. The peculiarity of this service is that it does not affect efficiency or our technological operations,” Tyshchuk said, quoted by TASS.

As Tyshchuk explains, these foods will not weigh much and will not cause a greater load on the boards.

At the beginning of April 8, Aeroflot and SDEK launched a new courier air delivery service, AeroflotSDEK. The service is designed for fast door-to-door delivery throughout Russia. The recipient will receive the package the day after shipping.
