Leaked images from Platform X’s TechDroider offer a look at the upcoming Google Pixel 8a, showcasing a design update.

The biggest change is the back panel, which ditches the Pixel 7a’s glossy finish for a more modern matte finish.

In the leaked images, the phone mistakenly looks like the phone shown in the Google Fi ad.

The bezels around the screen also appear thinner than previous models, giving the phone an overall sleeker and more modern look.

It’s worth noting that these leaked images have not been confirmed by Google, but are consistent with previous random Pixel 8a leaks in Google Fi ads.

According to rumors, the specifications of the Pixel 8a include the Tensor G3 chipset, a 6.1-inch 120Hz FullHD + OLED display and a rear camera system consisting of a 64-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, similar to the previous model.

The official launch is expected to happen soon, and these leaks give a pretty good idea of what Google has in store for the mid-range Pixel phone market.
