According to the agreement, Rosatom will operate the power units and sell electricity to customers. The financing source of the project has not been determined yet, but the price per kilowatt-hour is expected to be determined after calculating the investment volume and equipment cost.

Experts suggest that FPUs can be used to provide energy to industrial enterprises and LNG production. Plans also include using the energy to shorten China’s electricity supply chain.
