Apple has confirmed that MacRumors has allowed the download of game emulators from various sources.
For them, you can download and use any images, including those downloaded from the Internet. However, there is a condition: these must be retro games.
Previously, developers did not know if there were any restrictions regarding the use of pirated games. For this reason, many creators were afraid to release their emulators on the App Store – now the situation should change.
The only question that remains is how Nintendo will react to this, which officially prohibits downloading pirated copies of its games.
