WeWork said that the agreement for the sale of 100% of the shares of ViWork Rus LLC in favor of Space 1 LLC was signed on April 10, 2024. Information about the transaction has not yet been reflected in the Unified State Register of Persons Legal details and the amount of the transaction is not disclosed.
“All agreements and contracts entered into with ViWork Rus LLC remain valid until their full expiration, without changes,” WeWork says in the letter.
Operational control from WeWork to Space 1 will transfer between April 20 and 21, so there may be disruptions to the wireless network and access control system, according to the deal announcement. The new owner will separately announce the new corporate name ViWork Rus LLC.
In January 2024, it was reported that WeWork had agreed to sell its Russian business to investment company O1 Properties. It was noted that the agreement would include four sites in Moscow for 3 thousand jobs with a total area of 18 thousand square meters. meter.
