The court fined Twitch and Pinterest 1 million rubles for “failure to fulfill their obligations.” Previously, both services had already received several fines in Russia for violating the law, in particular for refusing to locate the data of Russian users.

The Tagansky Court in Moscow imposed fines worth 1 million rubles on the services Twitch and Pinterest. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.
Both companies were fined under Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, that is, for “failure to fulfill obligations on the part of the owner of the social network.”
A Russian court has fined Twitch and Pinterest several times. For example, Twitch was fined 3 million rubles for failing to remove content banned in Russia, Pinterest was fined 12 million rubles for refusing to localize Russian user data.
