According to the expert, the United States already has the X-37B spaceplane, a reusable vehicle designed to destroy enemy satellites. Russia is close to creating its own analogue capable of disabling satellites using electromagnetic pulses.

Additionally, Koshkin reported that Russia attempted to destroy its own Tselina-D satellite using the Nudol missile system, also known as the Dead Hand, which is part of the country’s A-235 security system.

The expert emphasized that both missiles and electromagnetic pulses will play a decisive role in future space conflicts, allowing countries to neutralize enemy satellite constellations while protecting their own satellite constellations.
