Hwasal-1 Ra-3 is a long-range subsonic cruise missile first introduced in 2022. It is believed to have a range of more than 1,500 kilometers and is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. Yield testing of the warhead will likely test its design and performance.

Pyolji-1−2 is a new type of anti-aircraft missile first demonstrated in 2023. It is believed to be a medium-range anti-aircraft missile (SAM) designed to intercept aircraft and missiles at high altitudes. The launch test is likely aimed at evaluating the missile’s performance and capabilities.
