Nothing, owner of the Nothing Phone family, announced last Thursday (18) a new integration of ChatGPT into its mobile phones and headsets. A. New tool makes interacting with chatbot easier It’s like a native virtual assistant similar to Google Assistant within the Nothing OS system.
The new feature makes ChatGPT one of the personal assistant options accessible via gestures, widget or screenshots shortcut on the company’s headsets. The company does not go into detail about how the mechanisms will work in the update notes, but in general it tries to facilitate interaction with the chatbot.
There will be two widgets for the home screen. As seen in the screenshot, one of them is used to start a text chat, while the other is a shortcut for voice commands. As for the clipboard, a button has been added to the print screen that allows you to paste content directly into a conversation with OpenAI’s AI.
Perhaps the most interesting thing is the integration with headphones. Users can set ChatGPT as their favorite virtual assistant and start the conversation with a gesture. The integration only works when the user uses one of the company’s headsets and one of its mobile phones.
The integration started rolling out to the public last week, starting with Nothing Phone 2, after which the update will also reach Phone 1 and Phone 2A in a few weeks. A. the new feature is included in version 2.5.5 of Nothing OS.
