Apple has patented the HomePod soundbar for TV.
The company’s drawings show a horizontal column with a belly button stand. Most likely, it has several ports for connecting to your TV.
On the front side, in addition to the speakers, there is a central screen for playing animated Siri, like in HomePod and HomePod mini.
There is also a version that this is a Beats sound bar. The shape of the speakers is similar to the Beats Pill, with a Beats logo on the front instead of a screen.
The patent itself calls the device an “audio-acoustic system.” Apple does not provide any other details about it.
Apple regularly files various patents, many of which are not implemented. Therefore, there are no guarantees that the ring soundbar will ever come out. [Appleinsider]
