Russian equipment in the energy sector is becoming increasingly competitive compared to foreign analogues. Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Eduard Sheremetsev emphasized that the industry may switch to the use of completely domestic electronic components in the near future.
Currently, manufacturers are actively testing and adapting Russian components, trying to find optimal solutions. Sheremetsev noted that it is important not only the availability of equipment, but also its operational efficiency.
Cheboksary is an important center for the development of relay protection and automation in Russia. Large equipment manufacturers are located here, and an electrical engineering cluster has been created combining high-tech equipment enterprises.
