Sellers can check the availability of the option in the “Advertising” section, “Review Points” tab. The launch was noticed by the “WB is serious” Telegram channel.

“We hope that the “Points for Reviews” tool will help sellers receive more product ratings and reviews, and buyers will receive bonus rubles,” the market’s press service told RB.RU.

The Wildberries representative added that the functionality is still in the testing stage and a full release is planned later.

Products for which points will be awarded will be marked with a special plate.

To earn points, users must review the product within five days of receiving it. Points will be credited after 14 days, as long as the buyer has not returned the product or deleted the review. Reviews without text will not earn points.

When setting up a promotion to collect reviews, the seller will need to indicate the start and end date of the promotion, select the products for which reviews should be collected (and the required number); Set the number of points to be returned to the buyer for a review.

For reviews with text, photos, or videos, you can specify a different number of points. Accumulating 1 point for a buyer will cost 1.44 rubles (20% market commission + 20% VAT).

  • Ozon has a similar tool called “Point Reviews.” Using points you can pay up to 25% of the cost of the product. The seller pays once a month for the market service: the accumulated number of points in rubles (1 point = 1 ruble without VAT) with a commission of 10% of the number of points issued and VAT of 20%.
