The reviewers checked everything themselves and confirmed that the yet-undisclosed bug caused the inability to send video footage to the smartphone. The same applies to some videos on the social network Instagram*.

The rest of the videos are sent without any problems and it seems that the error does not reoccur on all smartphones. The error occurred after WhatsApp on Android was updated to version 2.24.9.34. 9to5Google believes that the only solution at this time is to roll back to the previous version of messenger, 2.24.8.85.

There is no comment from WhatsApp developers yet.
