Since Skyworks’ main customer is Apple and iPhone sales account for a significant portion of the company’s total revenue, its data can serve as an indicator of the popularity of Cupertino products.

Skyworks said its revenue fell 8.7% from a year earlier to $1.046 billion, which the company attributed to “anticipated lower market demand.”

Therefore, it plans to expand beyond smartphones by focusing on connectivity technologies for IoT devices, automotive electrification systems, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.

It is worth noting that despite the overall recovery in the market, Apple’s sales are under threat, especially in China, one of the company’s key areas. According to preliminary forecasts, the decline in sales in this region may become even more intense in the future.
