Boots provide good protection against damage and bad weather. But it also has significant disadvantages.
For example, legs get tired more quickly due to insufficient support of the lower leg in boots. This caused problems on long walks. Another disadvantage was the high cost of the boots.
During the First and Second World Wars, boats became simpler and cheaper. However, they began to be replaced by high-top models. This is because they are more comfortable and support the leg better.
After the end of World War II, high-heeled boots began to be mass-produced. This made them more accessible. They were more expensive than boots, but were better suited to the military in terms of quality and comfort.
As a result, by the 1980s it was realized that bots provided better support than bots. That’s why they replaced ordinary boots in the army.
