Yesterday’s presentation of the new Apple tablets lasted only about 30 minutes. We were quickly told about the key features of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air, a small version of the updated Apple Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro, and were also shown new versions of proprietary applications Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for working with video and audio.

Topic: Here is everything that Apple showed at the presentations on May 7

But Apple wouldn’t be itself if it were that simple. While studying the updated official online store, we were surprised to discover various subtleties associated with the new products: for example, the absence of a power supply in tablet boxes, or the absence of a tray for a physical SIM card.

But that’s not what upset me personally. What the hell with them, with chargers, there are already plenty of them at home. But what’s really a pity is this company’s refusal to use apple stickers included with every new iPad.

Do you feel like eras are passing? That’s it.

These stickers are not needed, I throw them away immediately

I know a lot of people who take this position. Indeed, it would seem, what are these two stickers? Just unnecessary pieces of sticky paper in the shape of the Apple logo.

But for me, this is an important accessory, which, over many years of using Apple equipment, has become accustomed to being included in every box with a new phone. These stickers bring back fond memories when you see one and think “yes, I remember mine from the box with the seventh Jet Black iPhone, I also stuck it on the refrigerator. It was an excellent phone, and not at all as easily soiled and sensitive to scratches as everyone wrote around

Do you feel it? A simple piece of sticky paper unleashed a whole world of nostalgic images in my head. What is this if not part of the Apple magic?

Subtle, convincing. But why won’t they be included anymore?

Today, 9to5mac reported the following: a new memo for Apple Store staff dedicated to the launch of tablets says that Apple stickers will not be included with the new iPad Pro and iPad Air. It is environmentally conscious and part of the campaign by completely eliminating plastic from its packaging.

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure that these phenomena have any significant impact on the carbon footprint and harm our planet. Considering that their production will not stop.

How so? And like this. However, if you are buying a new iPad, then You might accidentally walk into an Apple store and they’ll give you an apple sticker separately.. If you don’t ask, they won’t offer it to you. What is the point of changing the principle of distributing these stickers from “default” before “by device“It’s not too clear to me.

But the lack of apple stickers in iPad boxes is just the first sign. I’m sure that they won’t be in the boxes with the new iPhone 16 either, which means the end of nostalgia. Now I see advertisements on trading platforms for the sale of these stickers as souvenirs. We’ll show you how it will be.

The iPhone 15 Pro also comes with a sticker, but only one.

It’s a shame that Apple is abandoning one of its most traditional accessories in its quest to accommodate this agenda. Now the apple sticker can only be purchased from sellers in Western Apple Stores.

Although this is no longer canon. There should be two stickers, because, as Craig Federighi personally told me back in 2018: three would be too many, and one would be too few.

Press F to show respect.
