For the first time, Apple has developed two versions of the processor for the iPad Pro.
The tablet uses an M4 processor, but the design changes depending on the amount of memory:
▪️ The 256 GB and 512 GB models are equipped with an M4 chip with 9 cores (3 high-performance and 6 energy-efficient) and 8 GB of RAM.
▪️ 1 TB and 2 TB models are equipped with an M4 chip with 10 cores (4 productive and 6 energy efficient) and 16 GB of RAM.
Previously, depending on the storage, only the amount of RAM changed, but now the processor also changes. So if you want the most popular iPad Pro, it’s worth buying at least the 1TB version.
But it is not a fact that the difference in performance will be noticeable in the presentation of life. Most likely, this will only break out in synthetic tests. [The Verge]
